We are in the progress of refurbishing a cutting machine classic. Our Engineer is taking to this project as he would for the restoration of one of his vintage motorcycles. Our Peter wants to ensure that he stays faithful to the original build quality. The abrasive cutter has been fully stripped down to the last bolt and screw. All components are being checked and adjusted, fixed and replaced as required. Buehler Simplimet 1000 mounting press has been added to our refurbished section of our new website. The simplimet 1000 system offers an electro hydraulic pressure system, so there is no requirement for compressed air. The fully automatic mounting cycle produces 40mm moulds in approximately 12 minutes. The bayonet closure makes removal of mounted samples nice and easy.
