Getting through the bleak winter, floods, gales even snow. The Spectrographic engineers have been working hard to refurbish the Buehler Metaserv 3000. This twin 200mm polisher/grinder will be available very soon.  The machine is capable of Polishing/Grinding 4 samples at anyone time. Another successful demonstration day at The AMRC training centre in Sheffield, yesterday. Paul Chippendale, Managing Director, and Dr Manfred Tietze headed up the day with delegates from around the UK. It was great to have a guest supplier in from NewSonic who demonstrated the Sonodur 2 UCI portable hardness tester with some great feedback too. Liam, our metallurgical microscope expert showed off the HDS5800 3D Digital microscope to a number of our guests. We also have some metallurgical equipment at the AMRC which was demonstrated on Wednesday 17th February 2016. Due to the success of the day, the next Demonstration Day will be in April 2016.
