NewSonic - Exciting Range of Portable Hardness Testers We’re really excited to announce that we are now working with NewSonic to provide the latest in portable hardness testers. Hardness testing is the most often used method for quality control and characterization of mechanical material properties. Hardness is not defined as a physical quantity but represents the material response on a certain test method and there exist many different hardness scales. Our mobile Hardness Testers work according to the UCI-Method or Leeb-Method respectively. This allows fast and simple hardness testing on site also at hard to get to test positions. Conversion of hardness values to other units can be done just by a simple key press (according to DIN ISO 18265 or ASTM E 140).
